{"id":149,"date":"2020-09-28T09:41:00","date_gmt":"2020-09-28T07:41:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/biophysics.pmfst.unist.hr\/?p=149"},"modified":"2024-04-23T12:49:42","modified_gmt":"2024-04-23T10:49:42","slug":"competition-for-the-admission-of-students-to-the-postgraduate-university-doctoral-study-programme-in-biophysics-in-the-academic-year-2020-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/biophysics.pmfst.unist.hr\/en\/competition-for-the-admission-of-students-to-the-postgraduate-university-doctoral-study-programme-in-biophysics-in-the-academic-year-2020-2021\/","title":{"rendered":"Competition for the admission of students to the Postgraduate University (Doctoral) Study Programme in BIOPHYSICS in the academic year 2020\/2021"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>UNIVERSITY OF SPLIT<\/strong><br><strong>FACULTY OF SCIENCE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>hereby issues a<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">COMPETITION<br>for the admission of students to the Postgraduate University (Doctoral) Study Programme in BIOPHYSICS in the academic year 2020\/2021<br><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The admission quota is 5 students.<br>The duration of the study programme is 3 years with the total of 180 ECTS credits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The following must be enclosed with the admission application: (<a href=\"http:\/\/projekti.pmfst.unist.hr\/biofizika\/dokumenti\/forms\/1.PSB_Enrollment_Application_2020.docx\">Form 1<\/a>):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>professional CV,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>certificate (diploma) of a completed graduate university study programme in physics, chemistry, biology or related fields,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>official grade transcript with a GPA which should nominally be over 4.0,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>notarised copy of the certificate of nationality or an equivalent proof of nationality,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>motivational letter for the admission to the Doctoral Study Programme in Biophysics, including the applicant`s research interest and tentative plans for the future (up to 500 words),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>letters of recommendation from two renowned researchers or university professors of the university where the applicant graduated or worked,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>letter of recommendation from a prospective supervisor containing the statement of having procured the funding for the doctoral candidate`s research and other necessary expenses within the doctoral study (<a href=\"http:\/\/projekti.pmfst.unist.hr\/biofizika\/dokumenti\/forms\/1.A.PSB_Recommendation_from_prospective_supervisor.docx\">Form 1.A.<\/a>),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>proof of active command of English language, either in a form of a certificate or through an interview with the Admissions Committee,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>information about the awards gained in the course of the study or published research papers and\/or poster\/lecture communications from conferences (if any).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the application, the applicant should specify whether the enrolment refers to the full-time or part-time study programme.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The tuition for the first year of study in the amount of 12,000.00 HRK shall be paid to the Faculty` account IBAN No.: HR6124070001100580549, reference No. 00-65264200-20601.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The enrolment fee in the amount of 300.00 HRK shall be paid to the Faculty`s account IBAN No.: HR6124070001100580549, reference No. 00-6526401-20601.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applications of foreign nationals are also welcome and they shall be considered under the same terms and criteria as those of the Croatian nationals (for more information visit <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pmfst.hr\/biophysics\">www.pmfst.hr\/biophysics<\/a>).<br>Both female and male applicants are eligible for application.
