Larisa Zorani\u0107 (PMF, Split) i Aurelien Perera (LPTMC, Pariz).<br>Doktorski rad je dio dvojnog doktorata (<em>Cotuttelle de thesis<\/em>) izme\u0111u Prirodoslovno-matemati\u010dkog fakulteta u Splitu&nbsp; i Physique en Ile-de-France, Sorbonne Universite u Parizu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Title:<br>On the nature of structural fluctuations in complex liquids<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Naslov:<br>O prirodi strukturnih fluktuacija u kompleksnim teku\u0107inama<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Abstract<\/strong>:<br>The analysis of different types of structuring, present in simple and complex liquids and their mixtures, was done using the method of molecular dynamics. Complex mixtures have at least one associative component, such as water, alcohols (mono-ols and diols) and amines. The supra-molecular structuring in these mixtures is detected, described, quantified and connected with the atom-atom interactions in the molecules. These systems have interesting fluctuation behaviors, as shown through Kirkwood-Buff integrals. Their correlation functions behave in a complex way, depending on the component, concentration and temperature. The pre-peak at small k&nbsp;values in the site-site structure factor is defined as a signature of molecular domains in these mixtures. A special focus is placed on long-range structuring, which is a novelty considering the majority of the work in the field of the physics of liquids. This thesis contributes to a better understanding of micro-heterogeneous structures in molecular liquids, and gives new links to structural heterogeneities in soft and bio-matter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sa\u017eetak<\/strong>:<br>Metodom molekulske dinamike provedena je analiza razli\u010ditih vrsta ure\u0111enja prisutnih u jednostavnim i kompleksnim teku\u0107inama i njihovim binarnim mje\u0161avinama. Kompleksne mje\u0161avine su one koje imaju barem jednu asocijativnu komponentu, kao \u0161to su voda, alkoholi (mono-oli i dioli) i amini. Supra-molekularno strukturiranje u tim mje\u0161avinama je detektirano, opisano i kvantificirano, te je povezano s atom-atom interakcijama u molekulama. Pokazano je da ovi sustavi imaju zanimljivo pona\u0161anje fluktuacija, opisano kroz Kirkwood-Buff integrale. Imaju kompleksno pona\u0161anje korelacijskih funkcija ovisno o komponenti, koncentraciji i temperaturi. Signal na malim k vrijednostima atom-atom strukturnih faktora je definiran kao potpis molekularnih domena u tim sistemima. Naro\u010diti naglasak se daje na dugodose\u017enu organizaciju u mje\u0161avinama, \u0161to je novost rada u odnosu na ve\u0107inu literature u polju fizike teku\u0107ina.
